Maxim machine gun

I was watching some of the ww2 footage from the A&E's "The World at War" and I saw that the Russians liked the idea of putting these guns on skies and I thought that would be nice to see in the mod. They could still use skies on the summer maps and it would be great to see the Maxim in the mod...

Wasnt there a problem with putting the Maxim into the mod. I know there is a model around somewhere, but the devs could not get infantry to man it or something along those lines

There's no animation for the Maxim.

- That's the MODEL. He said there is no ANIMATION for it.
Model... animation... different, see? :)

- As for maxim on ski, not a problem. Except on Grassland,
of course. Sand, downtown summer roads... oh yea ;)

it could work on grass. The skies could still go on grass and for urban places it could still work. I would just LOVE to see this thing in the mod

Oh, hey, I've been saying this forever...
Maxim should be in EF... in one form or another ;)
I don't mind if it's stationnary. But it's got to be in ! :)

Well, it CAN'T be an EF mod without the maxim...
It's like saying making russian army with no T34 :(

Guys, it is pretty much impossible to add custom infantry animations to some thing. To get it working properly needs a lot of work and knwoledge. Maxim will probably need to wait better times.

Just change the skin on British gun and stick it in a bunker? :)
