It's December first! supposedly one more month until release!

hello every one!!! I would just like to say that supposedly only one more month until the first public release of the mod! This statement is from several quotes from devs on moddb stating that the mod should be released as a Christmas gift  ;D I should say (holiday) gift  ;D

The only thing that's scaring me guys............is that no devs have posted here yet......

Because they are too busy making the final touches on the mod, meaning its almost done  ;D

To be honest, I think you guys a deluding yourselves.

There hasn't been a major announcement since August, which is 4 months ago. If something exciting was developed between then and now I'm sure we would have heard about it.

I think you'll find that a release this Christmas is unrealistic, because there really hasn't been much communication on what progress has been made since August.

I want this mod as much as you guys, and I am grateful it's come this far, but it doesn't mean I am going to let that hope cloud reality.

to be honest I think you only read the first post ;D (if you look at the rest of them that I don't think so to)

Well looking at Mod DB comments, as late as Nov 7 they said they were still shooting for a release before years end, so I am still hopefull

Here is a post stating that the mod is going to be fine.

And while a Christmas release is still possible, but it will take alot of quick hard work. At the end of the day, it just depends on whether a killer bug develops in the next few weeks.

But, from my games with other players, I'd pretty much

Seconded. Im in the habit of checking EF forums every time im bored. Its really getting in the way of my studies  :P

Oh, I still got social life and work. That's how I missed the
release of the Update :p Tonight I'm spending evening/night
with friends, so I won't be back for slightly under 24hrs... ;)

It's just that... we've really been eager for Relic to release
soviets for COH... and now, so, damn, close, that, you, can
, almost, touch, it, damn!!! :)

I'm helping others with their studies as well, so I don't feel
bad ;)

While this may be true, i would definitely be putting as much spare time into the mod if I was a dev. Only problem is I dont have any usefull skills to add to the team  :P

Its because im addicted to this mod. If there is any 3 seconds of time I dont have anything to do, I check for new posts here. I would love to work on the bloody thing, but im only a first year Software Engineer, so all I know is basic Object Oriented programming and ive never messed with model creation/animation.
