What excately do the Mechanics excately do?

Obviously they can repair, but by salvage do you actually mean like the bergtiger from the PE? I mean I cant think of anything else, but I cant imagine infantry salvaging an ISU-152 wreckage

No, as the Bergetiger can´t salvage allied tanks, they can´t. :P

Is it only once, and only at 50%-66% like PE Berger Tiger?
- Is this ability innate or must it be researched?
- Do newly ressurected tanks come back at 1%/No engine/
gun?
- Do newly ressurected tanks still not have a 'retreat' button? ;)

I think resurrecting enemy tanks have been tried (other mods), but it gives it back to the enemy  ;D

The ability comes with the Mechanics... since they are a doctrine call-in, it wouldn't make sense to have it as an upgrade. Once the tanks are brought back from the dead they have quite low health, and no, they can't salvage enemy tanks.

Ok, so the have the bergtiger salvage, which means it can work on American/Common Wealth tanks (im assuming) and not the Wehr pioneer salvage for resources ability. Right?

So do they also have the Sapper upgraded over repair?

Sorry for the flood of questions, but as far as I know, nothing besides what the guide says has been told about the mechanics

- ok, it's a ressurect tank. It's a doctrine unit. Not an engineer.
- It can ressurect soviet tanks but not german tanks (Or it would
then give those units back to the other player) :)

Questions :
- Can units be ressurected only once, and is their max
health lower on the 2nd run as with PE Berger?
- Is there a limit to the amount of mechanics you craft?
- Do newly ressurected tanks still have no 'retreat button' ? :)

- Can Soviets rez British trucks/tanks, american tanks/jeeps?
