System Crash after Recent COH upgrade

Am I the only one experiencing system crashes while playing EF? I have the most recent patch and have been using the COH new steam version ever since it came out.  I have not had this problem since the Steam/COH2 mod last year or so.  I was recently prompted to complete a COH upgrade (or update) and now the system crashes while I am playing EF.  I am usually in skirmish mode on both the Kursk(4) and Lyon (4) maps.  I have a pretty sophisticated desktop with no driver or hardware issues.  Does this sound familiar?  Help!

Old story:
New steam CoH patch -> EF wont work. U have to wait until we are able to fix the bug again. But it will take time because only a single Dev can solve the problem and he is a busy. All in all this is a difficult bug to patch. So it will take some time  :-\

Thanks for responding so quickly.  I had a feeling that this was the case as it seemed to be more than a coincidence that the problem started right after the upgrade.  It makes me NOT want to perform any upgrades to COH but I am not sure Steam will let me decline the upgrade.  Any way, thanks again and I will be feverishly waiting for the patch in the future.

Great work dude!  So the recrewing issues are all solved?  The only work left on the new version is some buildings and then it's of to Steam and I can finally play??

Pretty much. A new version should be out soon that wont include the new stuff, but will fix this bug so you guys can at least still keep playing
