COH/Steam upgrade leads to EF problems

This afternoon I was prompted by Steam to download an update for COH.  I completed the download and started EF and discovered that the audio files work but the characters do not move and everything is frozen regardless if I am loading an existing map (Kursk 4player BTW) or starting a new skirmish.  Am I the only one experiencing this issue and can someone help?

From what i read from the update, after the beta multiplayer stage for coh, now they are updating a official one. Have you try to restart the game and see what happen?

Edit: after reading the steam forum, i found out that a lot people is having problem with the skirmish/automatch or any type of multiplayer after the update.

Thanks for replying.  I did try restarting etc and I soon discovered that others are experiencing the same problem.  My next question is when will this bug be fixed.

Obviously this is developer's fault so the only thing we can do now is wait, that's all we can do now. (or you can send a complaining message to the developer)

I too am having the same issues. Hopefully they will have it patched soon!!!
