Multiplayer Game stuck at loading screen

Whenever me and my friend start a game, he will load to about 75 percent and then it will just stop until one of us leaves. Is there anything we can do to fix this?

at 75% mostly the "real" loading time starts. until you reach the 70% area you'll load fast, but after that it'll take a while to start the game. Sometimes it can take up to like 2 minutes to load a match in Eastern Front from said 70%, depending on your/your friends hardware.
