Game crashes when clicking "accept" after changing options

I spent some looking for the answer to the above question. If it's a duplicate question that has been addressed already feel free to close this.

With all patches applied and running on the steam version I'm having issues with crashing to desktop when I go into "OPTIONS" and change settings. THe crash actually occurs when the "accept" is pushed.

I've removed and reinstalled multiple times and can't get this figured out. Running on an older pc but it meets all the requirements. As it sits now it's unplayable with the default settings as my video card just screams STOP.

I suffer the same when I'm running any mods.  I personally think it'd due to reloading all the information again, but don't quote me on that.

Anyways, you're here for a solution.  I've got two for you:

#1 - run vCoH and change the setting there

#2 - open "configuration.lua" in "Documents/My Games/Company of Heroes Relaunch" with a text editor, and change the settings there manually (some of the settings are a bit decieving - so make sure you're changing it properly).

I edited the text file and up and running thanks.
