Help please steam/old coh version

Hello

Since the change over to steam I have not been able to get this game working. I can go on a game load it up but then nothing happens. I'm not sure what the issue is. I have changes all my coh games over to stea and I am able to play the vanilla coh. Just not sure how to play this using steam. Brilliant game by the way really wana give the ostheer a go. Any help would be much appreciated x

Check if Eastern Front has been installed into "...\steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch". If not, install it into that directory, after that it should definately work.

Would i just copy this link?

Hey this error pops up 3/4 of the way through.

'error opening file for writing'

C:\program files x(86)\steam\SteamApps\common\company of hereos Relaunch\ Company of Hereos\Eastern_front\DataAttrib\ebps\environment\art_ambient\buildings\normandy_rural\roughstone_3x6_churchold_02\roughstone_3x5_churchold_02_sp_hells_highway,rgd.

I do have the option to ignore this however when i did i could load up the map but once i pressed the button to start nothing happened.

You have a bit wrong folder there, remove the bold part from folder while installing.

I have input the following without the bold part.

C:\program files x(86)\steam\SteamApps\common\company of hereos Relaunch\ Company of Hereos.

However the same issue is still happening everything loads up correctly but once I press the start button it crashes.

I can however load up the tutorial and play that.

Make sure you install EF in this path on the installer:
C:\program files (x86)\steam\SteamApps\common\company of heroes Relaunch\

and not this one:
C:\program files x(86)\steam\SteamApps\common\company of hereos Relaunch\ Company of Hereos

Also, make sure the correct path is set in the launcher's settings, in CoH Directory option.

Sorted thanks guys it was the path on the installer that was incorrect.
