New patch for Eastern Front

Hello guys!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have released a new patch!!

Thanks to your feedback we have fixed most of the bugs and glitches reported, hope we can get more feedback from you to continue improving the mod :). In order to get the patch you need to update using your EF launcher!

Balance is still being worked on, so do not despair, soon we will be delivering more patches to improve your experience, however, if you notice a balance issue please let us know so we can discuss it.

We are also discussing how we should implement the foreign units, and when we have defined the way to go we will let you know. We will start the discussions about the RMC in the coming week. If you also have good ideas for the mod, remember you can share them in our forums so we can discuss them and see if they could be implemented.

Also, we are looking for volunteers who can help us to translate the following languages:
* Czech
* Japanese
* Italian

I'm not sure if something messed up with my download or this is a bug with Bradenburger squad shows up as boxes saying MISSING RGM, LET THERE BE PANIC, Consult the warning logs for answers.

Got the new big patch (1GB one) and appeared to work fine, started it today and it downloaded a small 18MB one and when I started it my SSD had 12.5GB free, game then crashed and said my machine was running low on memory?! and my SSD only had 350MB free?!?! Rebooted and still not clear, I'm running Windows 8 and it might of came up with Microsoft.Net framework error??

started it again after re-booting and getting back my missing 10GB to find 'NEW' patch, v2.10.3 which when installed still says it is v2.10.2 on the loading screen?!?! why o why doesn't it work, just want to pay a few games  :'(

BIG memory leak somewhere?!?!

It won't download? Any external links I can try. Updater just stays at 0%.

Nevermind....it finally downloaded. Just delayed  :P

Crashes when I hit play from EF launcher???

Reinstalled EF from the beginning of Ostheer and it works. It installed [IP address redacted] and shows in EF launcher but in game it shows [IP address redacted] (but who cares, small bug). I think the EF Launcher settings I had including -dev and -all missions somehow made it unable to launch so if anyone else experiences that problem they might want to just try to reset Launcher with default settings rather than reinstall everything like I did.

I's possible to get the current version to work, just follow the guide I made in this post.

Latest EF version that officially works with 2.602 is 1.72.

I'd love to read this guide (as 2.602 offers Lan options), but i can't follow that link.

Steam also offers an offline mode. Just plug your internet connection, start steam and after that you can play your games offline.

I've just downloaded the new EF Ostheer update and fully updated EF using the launcher. I'm now using the Steam version, and the game works, but if I play at anything other than the 2nd lowest screen resolution, the game crashes as soon as I press "accept" in the options menu. I used to be able to use a much higher resolution with no problems at all, and still can with other versions of CoH. What's the problem? Can anyone help? It really isn't as good in the lower resolution, and I'm considering returning to the old version. Can I do this?
