help please coh keeps crashing when i play as ostheer

as above, i start a game plays ok until i get about 10 minutes in then freezes ,

system more than able to run this its been playing coh since built,crazy thing is when i play normal coh no problems its only when i play as ostheer ,
any ideas guys

You need to have the steam version of coh after 1.8 Eastern front only works with it. Hope I helped.

i have reinstalled coh through steam, playing the stream version,
do i have to reinstall opposing fronts and tov have them on my steam account but never reinstalled them just coh ,i've tried all dif maps but always the same,

Yes, version 2.700 is the newest.

However, as you're saying your pc is up to date enough for playing CoH and it keeps freezing:

There always has been an issue with "ultra" texture details in graphic options. The setting creates problems with the game, leading to crashes, freezes etc. Not only Eastern Front, but every mod suffers from this problem.

I'd advise you to put the texture details to "high" instead (if you don't already have).

ok looks like i've tracked the problem down,i've played maps as all faction, only when i play as ostheer does it freeze, last night i got the dreaded fatal scar error as soon as the game loaded,restarted picked russians played without a hitch lol,tried ostheer again same error ,has anyone any ideas guys,
not enjoying coh2 so wanted this to work

I wonder if you haven't installed correctly EF. Could you upload your warnings.log?
