Questions on Ostheer

After playing a few rounds with Ostheer, I have some questions on my mind:

1. The medic truck serves limited purpose as it can only be fielded in the command area. It will be nice if it can be performing outside, like the Zis Medic truck, or something similar.

2. Concrete Slab from sturmpioneers have what use, except to build a medic tent (if choose army fortress doctrine)? It seems that this doctrine is the only one to build defenses too, right?

3. Can I simply change my pool (from support to assault and vice versa) and back, as long as I pay the munitions cost?

If using other doctrines like Army support or elite, will the defenses like MG can be built?

The medic truck is the Ostheer variation of a triage center. For in-field healing you already have medic veterancy on your main combat units, which allows you to heal allied wounded units.

You can put mg teams and other units inside it, like in a bunker. It also always can be upgraded to a medic tent, from which you can reinforce in the field. And yes, Panzernests are only available with Army Fortress.

Yes.

For No 2., can I know will the units inside will take damage like inside the bunker/ buildings and the defense or upgrade them like the concrete emplacements in the base, except medic center?

5. And, when you build something, I wonder what, it will shows that a few spots in the mini map is in green. What does the green UI means for Ostheer? (I only know it is applicable for Brits where it means the Captain is at that sector)

Units inside have a defensive bonus, yes.

The green UI is an indicator for the Osther "Dig In!" ability. In every sector that you build defensive buildings in (concrete emplacement, panzernests) every unit inside the sector will slowly regenerate health over time.

Every INFANTRY unit... Just read the tooltips, everything you know is in there :P
