German Soldiers

With the Russians new "conscript" infantry the Germans should be able to counter them with their own version of cheap infantry.
The Germans did use captured enemy troops or civilians to form "volksgreniders"  I know that the Wher. already have them but giving them a nice look would be nice  ;D maybe like adding different skins for each unit. Like giving one volks a suit and the other one a German uniform. Maybe you could even add a woman to the volks to make it historically accurate

soldiers who lost their units were forced to volksgrenadiers in the end of the war.
what you mean are "hiwi´s" (hilfswillige)- these were people who wanted to help the germans

i don´t like the idea that germany shall get an cheap unit just to counter the russian conscripts- i think it would be better if the germans have the better infantry and the russians have more infantry

If German infantry kill cheap Russian infantry, axis will won quickly Comand points... so, Less Infantry but better trained.

consider that Russian conscripts cannot retreat,they are good source of comand points.

well yes but these men aren't rely made to counter the Russian conscripts but mostly to make the mod more historically correct

Agree. Well trained german soldiers against the soviet's red tide.

The Ostheer really doesn't need Volksgrenadiers. WH has it already, so no need to make a "carbon copy".  ;D

They already said that they weren't going to change the current armies.

And if you are talking about the Ostheer that they are planning on making, then there better be a good reason for including anything.

The Ostheer will not 'recycle' units from the vanilla factions. Why would we do that?
