Offline Lan

This is my first post on this forum, but I'm not new in coh eastern front I was playing this mod with my friends from  first versions. This is a great mod and the dev team did fantastic job.

I'm writing because one thing does not allow us to enjoy that ostheer will be released very soon. Me and my friends loves to play lan party. Often when we meet  for playing coh ef by lan, we don't have internet connection. Coh new steam version don't allow to create/host game when player is not connected to the internet and this is huge disappoitment.

My question is:
Is there any possibility to play offline lan with new steam version?

And devs please consider again releasing eastern front 2.0 with ostheer also for the retail version. I think a lot of players will be very grateful.

I hope they do release for retail version as well, as Steam is very annoying to be used (need to connect most of the time).

I would love if they supported the retail version as well because my internet is very choppy and I often drop out in the middle of a game. My friends and I would play offline LAN to solve this problem, but now since EF only supports the steam version I just play against the AI.

I am pretty sure there is no way to play offline on the new Steam version. I agree with k3nsai and would like the developers to reconsider releasing EF for the retail version.
