Eastern Front now for 2.700 only?

Eastern Front Devs and Fans,

"Other Mods (all works, except EF)" out there are 2.700 and 2.602 compatible. It's just a matter of changing the install location.

Is there any other reason why only EF can no longer support RETAIL or 2.602? ....when the rest of modding community does it ....

Is there other some sort of "hocus pocus" i could do to run "the latest EF" with 2.602 or retail?

Just an honest inquiry.

Eastern Front adds new factions, most other mods (like Blitzkrieg or Modern Combat) only change existing factions. Because of the new factions Eastern Front needs to modify some files (factionfix etc.) to make them work with CoH, for example for recrewing weapons.

As Relic changed a lot of code with 2.700 compared to 2.602 it was needed to create new versions of the factionfix and some other files had to be made. Which made EF compatible to 2.700 only.

Abuse is abuse and has to go.
