What kind of players would play as the Soviet Union and What kind of players wou

When this mod comes out I want to know who should play who.

Because I used to think that if you play as Russia you should spam but now I have seen the contrary on the Forums ???.

And what kind of players would play as the Ostheer ???

Initially there will be many games with computers, then players will want to try to fight against the Evil Ivans and stop the commy. ;D

Every one who plays this mod online is gonna play as russia and when they cant they will get pissed off and leave the server to start their own server so they can play as russia.

Im fine playing as germany

What kind of strategy should I use for different factions?

well it defends on the comand tree you use. If you choose the defense tree as the Where well then your gonna have a bit more of a defensive role in a battle than the guy who chose blitz. Same will go as the Russians

I'm an offensive player (not in that sense) so the breakthrough doctrine is my style: tanks backed up with decent infantry and air support. That said the urban assault doctrine has some interesting offers for an fallshirmjäger spam guy like me... What a great unit: the only way to kill them is Mgs or armor, if microed properly

It's called playing SKIRMISH mode. I sure as hell did with the demo... Semois got boring, so I mixed the maps from the MP beta and the demo to get 3 maps  ;D

Personally I'm all about Skirmish...I just like it more, as in I can pause it or just bugger off and do something else if I feel like it without being a bastard.

Also I get tired of the "my internet dong is both bigger than an more destructive than a Kingtiger" sort of people.

That being said, Europe In Ruins is quite nice, and the people there are nice to newbies.

I think every kind of player will want to be the Soviet Union, just for something new.

Hmm, all kinds really. I play all factions/doctrines either way.
If you repetitively play/do the same thing over and over, it
becomes stale. I like variety.
As Luz777 said, squirmishes are nice. I like duels, too, but
ranked games... too many cheaters, too many 'my internet
dong is bigger' too many people taking it waayyy too seriously.

I'll play soviet, I'll play against the soviets. To better explore
both sides of the same coin, regardless :)
